Hello! My name is Julie Mecham and I am a licensed KiddyKeys Instructor. I am very excited to introduce KiddyKeys Preschool Music and Piano to The Woodlands, Spring and Conroe areas of the great state of Texas! KiddyKeys is a highly educational program that focuses on teaching piano concepts and music appreciation to pre-schoolers.

I enjoy creating a fun learning environment for children. Seeing them experience the joy of music is very fulfilling. They inspire me! I have a passion for music and I love children. I could not be happier in my profession! I teach private piano lessons and have done so for over 25 years. Many children have touched my heart!

I am a graduate of Brigham Young University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child Development with a secondary focus in Early Childhood Education. My husband and I have two children and 5 grandchildren. We have lived in Utah, Oklahoma and Texas, the latter for 22 years, but I hail from the beautiful state of Vermont where my love of music began. My parents loved music and so I and my siblings grew up with an appreciation and love for it. Many of our family still play instruments and/or sing, some professionally.

There are many wonderful learning opportunities in the KiddyKeys program and I am so excited to be a part of it through teaching. Not only will your child experience the joy of learning piano concepts and music appreciation, but so much more!
