Ms. Gardner's teaching experience began around the tender age of 4. At that time, she had no actual students taking lessons; but she was constantly setting up her classroom and writing notes and songs on a chalkboard in her room. Fast forward 10 years, when she was asked to teach piano to several kids in the neighborhood. This invaluable experience helped her pay for her education and also prepared her for her future career.

Soon Ms. Gardner began working with preschoolers. Her teaching experience in a Montessori school began to reshape her ideas about the potential of very young children in music. She is thrilled to be affiliated with the KiddyKeys program, which offers curriculum designed specifically for very young musicians.
