Sharon has been teaching piano to children and adults of all ages for the last 23 years. Living in Yuma AZ for the last 18 years, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband Ron, and 3 daughters ages 17, 14, and 6. She holds a BA in Music Education from Point Loma Nazarene University. Sharon incorporates early childhood development and brain research in learning especially when working with young children. Her classes involve developmentally appropriate play, games, singing, movement, and of course creativity and imagination! Lessons are tailored to each student's learning style. She has accompanied college choirs, taught Music Appreciation at the local community college, and offered Kindermusik for 7 years. Sharon is excited to add KiddyKeys to her studio offerings.
